Speechless…

It has been sometime since I started this blog… but it is as good as empty.. I think I have been through lotsa harsh xps that I became speechless… a kind of reflex mechanism to avoid letting it out… or am just too new to blogging…

Ill start with saying the I am bi-polar.. and this the motivation of this blog… being a bi-polar is such an adventure worth blogging and authoring books about… as sis myobic agreed with me!

I’ll be blogging more often inshaAllah… stay tuned… :)

I was browsing Aljazeera website today (arabic), and it had a news about the winter in the (desert!) gulf region where a spell of freezing weather, not seen for ages, is hitting the region. Especially interestin is the fact that Riyad (the Saudi capital) recorded sub-zero temperatures and snow is anticipated soon.  Here is the link to the news piece:

This reminds me of the snow that fell on Dubai 2-3 years ago. And all this reminds of one of the signs of the Day of Judgment, which is the fact that the desert countries become green lands again. Could the substantial weather changes witnessed in recent years be one of those signs? Or is it that we humans became fed up with how things in our world are going that we wish it somehow ends?

But it is interesting to think of how it would like when the end really comes!! Till then, we should all remind ourselves to stay on the right path and remind others as well.

So tomorrow is 9th of Muharram, and 10th is ‘Ashura. It is narrated from the prophet (saw) that fasting these 2 days washes the sins of one year. Isn’t our religion so generous in offering so many chances to wash our inevitable sins? Indeed, I thank Allah (swt) for the blessing of Islam… may Allah help us stay on track and strengthen our faith.. Ameen…

Some credits…

The idea of starting my own blog rang my head quite a long time already… but what inspired me to really start one, is the series published by Umar Lee at his blog, which he titled “The rise and fall of the salafi dawah in the US”.

Simply put, I went through a very similar experience, whose scars are still visible on my soul. I read the comments in response to his series, and I identified myself with most of the commenters, especially Umm Adam and Myobic Vision.

So I thank them all after Allah (saw) for the indirect inspiration and wish them all the success in the blogging.

Wassalam

I finally decided that I want to break the “taboo” of speaking myself and sharing my life with others… so I welcome you all to my blog… and welcome your comments… may Allah (swa) help me to write what pleases Him…

I will be back again later… so stay tuned:)…
